Federal Apostille and Notary Processing

We Are Hiring

We're Always Hiring

Apostille work is local work. Every state authenticates its own documents, county clerks sit in county seats, and someone has to walk the filing in. That means we are permanently looking for commissioned notaries, document runners and translators in cities across the country — including places where we have no office at all. If that is you, the form below takes about a minute.

Who We Work With

Where You Are Matters More Than Where We Are

A Secretary of State in one capital, a county clerk in another, a vital records office somewhere else again — the work follows the geography of American records, not the location of our offices. A notary in a state capital or near a county seat is useful to us in a way that no amount of central staffing replaces.

Most people who contact us are already commissioned and already doing this work for someone else. Some are not commissioned at all and want to start. Both are worth hearing from: tell us where you are and what you hold, and we will be in touch when something comes up in your area. We keep applications on file rather than only looking when a gap opens.

What We Hire For

Commissioned Notaries

Active commissions in any state. Acknowledgments, jurats and copy certifications executed to the standard the authenticating office actually applies — which is the part most notaries have never had explained to them.

Document Runners

People near a Secretary of State office, a county clerk or a federal agency who can hand-deliver filings and collect them. Reliability and a clean record matter more than experience.

Translators

Certified and sworn translators working into and out of English. Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Korean, Chinese and French come up most, but we are interested in any language pair.

Office & Intake Staff

Front-of-house and processing roles at our offices — receiving documents, reviewing them before filing, and keeping clients informed. Detail obsession is the whole job.

Mobile Signing Agents

Notaries willing to travel to a client — hospitals, offices, homes, care facilities — for signings that cannot happen at a counter.

Referral Partners

Immigration attorneys, relocation firms, translation agencies and signing services who would rather hand apostille work to someone than build the capability. Ask us about partner terms.

Questions & Answers

Working With Us — Questions & Answers

Do I need to be a notary to apply?
No. Notaries are the largest group we work with, but runners, translators and office staff are not required to hold a commission. If you are not commissioned and would like to be, say so on the form — several people who started as runners are commissioned now.
You don't have an office in my city. Is it still worth applying?
Yes, and often more so. Documents are authenticated where they were issued, which means we regularly need someone in a state where we have no premises at all. State capitals and county seats are particularly useful, but so is anywhere a client happens to be.
How much work is there?
It varies by location and by season, and we would rather be straight about that than promise volume we cannot guarantee. Some areas are steady, others are occasional. We will tell you honestly what your area looks like on the call rather than after you have turned down something else.
What are the terms and the pay?
Those depend on the role, the location and the type of assignment, so we discuss them directly rather than posting a number that would be wrong for most people reading it. Ask on the call and you will get a specific answer before you commit to anything.
Do I need my own supplies and insurance?
For notarial work you will need a current commission, your seal and whatever your state requires of you, and many notaries carry errors and omissions coverage. Tell us what you have and we will tell you whether anything else is needed for the kind of assignment we have in mind.
I'm a signing agent already. Is this the same work?
Related but not identical. Loan signings are a volume business with a fixed package; apostille work is fussier, lower volume and much less forgiving of a defective notarial certificate, because a Secretary of State will reject it outright. If you are precise about certificates you will find this straightforward.
Can I refer work instead of doing it?
Yes. Attorneys, agencies and signing services regularly send apostille work our way rather than learning fifty states' requirements. Mention it on the form and we will send you the partner terms.
