Croatia
Croatia joined both the eurozone and the Schengen area in January 2023, which transformed it from a promising outsider into a fully integrated EU destination. It has one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe, over a thousand islands, a Mediterranean climate on the Adriatic and a cost of living well below Italy or Spain.
